Responsibilities EVS/ HOUSEKEEPER - PER DIEM This position provides a variety of support services in the areas of transportation, environmental services, security, and maintenance for Del Amo Behavioral Health Systems. This position performs a variety of duties in and around the facility; responsibilities include but not limited to: Maintains orderly and sanitary conditions of the facility, cleans and services the facility and ground areas; protects life and property of all persons on facility premises, patrols building and grounds to prevent fire, theft and vandalism and secures, unlocks and protects building; responds to security needs of facility personnel and guests, and assists the front lobby reception during visiting hours to ensure that contraband is checked .

Qualifications Education: - High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; On-The-Job Training provided
- Completion of Security Training program or equivalent preferred.
Crendtial: - Valid California Driver's License Class C in order to drive hospital/facility vehicles or on hospital business.
Experience: - Experience working in behavioral health preferred.
- Previous experience in enviornmental services (hospital/hotel industry) preferred.
- Two (2) years in a hospital enviornment preferred.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITON: - Must be able to demonstrate special training, knowledge and skills specific to job (i.e. van/driver's training, etc.) and/or program specific competency within the first three (3) months of training, and annually thereafter.
- Must complete all required mandatory inservices annually.
- Must be tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest x-ray upon hire; PPD skin test required annually or chest x-ray tri-annually thereafter.
- Must be certified in Handle With Care training within the first three (3) months of hire and annually thereafter if assigned to Security or Transportation duties.
