Provides clear written and verbal communication to staff, supervisors, patients and families. Responsible for management of the department(s) daily operations. Will provide clinical services to patients as needed. Assists with establishing and enforcing department policies and procedures. Responsible for program development including establishment, implementation and assessment of strategic plan. Accountable for all phases of staff development including recruitment, orientation, retention, supervision, competency and professional growth. Develops and implements marketing plan to internal and external referral sources. Establishes and monitors the department's budgetary needs. Serves as a mentor to staff on clinical issues and serves as a positive example to employees and patients. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Associates Degree required. BSN preferred.
