Job Description
We are the Digital & Business Factory of the Accor group, the innovation and transformation laboratory of the global leader in the hospitality industry; with our 700 Heartists, we bring together the best of hospitality and the best of tech & digital. Our ambition: to offer personalized, memorable, and sustainable experiences.
Within the Digital & Business Factory of the Accor Group, we are recruiting within 3 different Squads:
Squad Enroll & Back Office: The team develops our customer account system and the website subscription process. The team manages databases (SQL) and user interfaces. This Squad is hiring a Backend Java Developer (80%) with experience in front-end development with Angular (20%). The position requires comfort in a DevOps/AWS environment.
Squad Benefits & Status: The team develops the lifecycle of our customer loyalty card, including the system that manages reward points and benefits. This Squad is hiring a Backend Java Developer (100%) with experience in Kafka. The position requires comfort in a DevOps/AWS environment.
Squad Preference Account in Hotel: The team develops the 360 customer profile system used by hoteliers. This Squad is hiring a Fullstack Java/Vue.js Developer (50%/50%).
Qualifications
Hard Skills:
- Proficiency in the following technologies and concepts:
- Java (advanced level)
- Angular or Vue.js (advanced level)
- JavaScript / Nuxt3 / TypeScript / Ecmascript 6++ / Ajax / jQuery / JSON / Handlebars
- HTML 5 / CSS / SASS
- RESTful APIs
- ORM (Relational and No-SQL)
- CI/CD
- Design patterns
- Proficiency in Cloud technologies (ideally Amazon Web Services)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Knowledge of Atlassian suite: Jira, Xray, Confluence
- Familiarity with test-driven development approaches
Soft Skills:
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Reactivity and decision-making skills in urgent production situations
- Cultivate excellent relationships with other departments and collaborate effectively
- Adaptability and ability to work on diverse topics simultaneously while adhering to testing and production schedules
- Strong writing skills for technical documentation and effective verbal and written communication
- Open-mindedness and a continuous search for tools/processes to enhance deliverable quality and team velocity
- Rigor, sense of responsibility, efficiency, and proactivity are essential
Language Requirements: Fluency in both French and English is mandatory, as the working environment is Anglophone.
