Job Details We are seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join our dynamic legal team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for handling complex litigation cases and representing plaintiffs in legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on Jones Act cases. Responsibilities: Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and attending court hearings and trials Represent plaintiffs in MVA, premises and other PI causes Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients Manage a caseload and ensure all deadlines are met Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methods Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure the best possible outcome for clients Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on Personal Injury a plus Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines Experience in maritime law is a plus If you are an experienced litigation attorney with a passion for representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
