Job Description
The Sanitation Operator I, will perform housekeeping and sanitation processes using basic equipment and following sanitation schedules and safety processes. In this role, you will maintain good housekeeping and sanitation conditions to ensure food safety regulations and other local regulations are met, prevent failures and maintain safe work areas.Job Type: Full TimeShift(s) Available: 1stCompensation: $18.00 /hr. BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, and PrescriptionDrug InsuranceHealth and Wellness IncentivesPaid Vacation and Holidays401(k) with Cargill matching contributionsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)Short-Term Disability and Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition ReimbursementEmployee DiscountsPrincipal Accountabilities Adhere to safe work practices, follow governmental regulations and other required guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions, ensure product quality is maintained and all lockout and tag out procedures are followedFollow sanitization schedules and record, maintain and signoff on sanitation recordsVerify cleaning tools are in acceptable condition and replace as necessaryAssist operations and maintenance teams in operator care tasks such as disassembling and cleaning processing machines and equipmentWork safely with cleaning chemicals including use of protective gear as required and operating basic sanitation equipmentMaintain overall site cleanliness by performing sanitation tasks such as sweeping, dusting and mopping under frequent guidanceOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Basic computer skillsAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance noticePreferred QualificationsBasic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systemsExperience working in a production related work.Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklift High School diploma or GED equivalentEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet.Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
