Equine Veterinary Assistant
Kessen Veterinary Clinic is looking for an Equine Veterinary Assistant or Technician to support and thrive in our busy practice. As a veterinary assistant/ technician, your daily challenges will include, overseeing patient appointments, receiving client phone calls, returning client calls, handling and restraining horses for exams, preparing joints for treatment, equipment preparation, as well as helping to care for hospitalized patients, and cleaning stalls as needed. • 2+ years of prior veterinary experience with equine
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper horse handling and restraint
• Self-motivating and willing to contribute immediately
• Team player willing to learn and further their knowledge
