**Job Description**

BAE Systems is seeking a Quality Inspector.

Responsibilities:

+ Responsible for knowing and supporting the quality policy and must comply with published personnel policies.

+ Responsibilities include providing a harassment free/non-discriminatory work environment and drug-free workplace, in accordance with State and Federal laws.

+ Responsible for the inspection of materials, parts, processes and final products, and documentation of the results.

+ Inspects close tolerance items using non-computerized inspection equipment, procedures and setups.

+ Reviews paperwork accompanying inspected items for appropriateness and completeness.

+ Performs first article, in-process, and final inspection.

+ Prepares and files all required quality documentation and records for inspection area.

+ Responsible for the continuous improvement of the position and department.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ 2 years related experience in inspection and quality assurance in precision parts production.

+ Able to read drawings.

+ Able to understand geometric tolerances and dimensioning.

+ Able to use all inspection hand tools.

+ Able to understand quality assurance processes and set-ups.

+ Must be self-motivated and capable of working with limited supervision.

+ Must be able to demonstrate ability to work effectively with others and be able to use good judgment.

+ Must be flexible regarding position duties and hours.

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ GD&T Certified and CMM

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $49600 - $79400

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
