Shipping & Receiving Associate
We are looking for an individual who can join our team with positive energy and a dedication to providing our customers with the right product at the right time. The shipper will work closely with Accounting and Customer Service providing shipping details and reviewing customer specific instructions such as C of C or Commercial Invoicing data. Receiving works closely with incoming inspection as well as purchasing.
Responsibilities
•Coordinate LTL and other transport to assure product is shipped and delivered timely.
•Update Microsoft Planner with soft copies of the BOL and other shipping documents.
•Receive, count, and stage product for incoming inspection and enter transactions into MRP system (MiSys).
•Operate forklift, hand cart or other machinery required to store, retrieve, and count inventory in the fulfillment building.
•Support packing, cycle counting, and other operations as required.
•Maintain a safe and clean environment to eliminate foreign object debris (FOD) and other hazards.
Qualifications
•High School diploma or equivalent.
•Minimum 7-10 years of warehouse and shipping experience.
•Ability to read and communicate in English for safety and instructional purposes.
•Dependable, reliable with a great attention for detail.
•Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time and lift 50 pounds.
•Experience operating a forklift.
