Position Description:
As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Use set up sheets to prepare tool kits for machinists
- Order tooling for the department
- Interact with vendors and obtain quotes
- Organize and maintain inventory through Applied Medical's inventory control application
- Understand and follow machining policies and instructions (MI), QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules, and safety guidelines
- Meet schedules and maintain quality standards
Position Requirements:
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- Technical apptitude
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Be able to stand/sit/walk frequently
- Be able to push/pull up to 25lbs
- Working knowledge of MIs, QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules and safety guidelines
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Experience maintaing and tracking inventory
- Knowledge of tool life and its basic applications (endmills, drills, inserts)
- Fork Lift Certification
- Working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office software, and Excel
Benefits:
The base compensation range for this role is $17 - $23 / hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
