Bema encourages innovation from its associates, employs the latest technology and has aggressive expansion plans.Responsibilities include, but not limited to :Respond to inbound calls and emails from customers looking to place ordersWork with warehouse and pre-press personnel for order accuracy and timely shipmentManage backorder/out of stock itemsIssue creditsTrack orders and packaging slipsFollow up on order status with customerPrepare bill of ladings, warehouse shipment labels and billings each dayWork with transportation companies to provide customer pickup and delivery datesHandle customer inquiries/complaints in a diplomatic, efficient, and knowledgeable mannerAssist with miscellaneous projects, mailing, faxes, etc. as neededParticipating member of the AIB Mock Recall teamEducation and Experience:MUST have at least 2 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience using and ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics NAV - A PLUSMUST be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookMUST have excellent communication skills and phone skillsMUST be highly organizedExperience processing digitally printed label, cartons or flexible packaging - A PLUSDirect experience supporting customers that purchase pouches, laminated films and extruded films - A PLUSRequired Qualifications:Able to take initiative and identify areas to streamline processes and implement improvementsMathematical skills are necessary for validation of estimates and billingSelf-starter, ability to work independentlyAble to work well, have a strict attention to detail and be able to work accurately under pressureAbility to multi-task successfullyStrong problem-solving talentsHelps ensure all procedures for the company and the American Institute of Baking (AIB) are followed.Starting salary is estimated at $50,000/yr. and is based on, among other things, a candidates experience, and qualifications.
