Strong typing capabilities and a basic understanding of data processing.nnJob Duties: Answers phones and conveys messages to staff accurately and in a timely manner. Enters patient data into the computer system and prints computer generated reports. Assists with the filing and maintenance of department records. Communicates in a professional, positive and clam manner to facilitate a cooperative and collaborative environment. Assists departmental staff when needed. Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
