Pay $35.50nn$4 Shift PremiumnnSat-Mon 6am-6pmnnPerforms skilled maintenance and repairs services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical and building systems; ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.nnResponsible for trouble shooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating change-over.nnTroubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventativennMaintenance on equipment.nnOverhaul and install new equipment.nnRebuild and fabricate parts.nnPerform facility maintenance and maintain clean and safe work area.nnGenerate parts request to ensure adequate inventory.nnGenerate and complete work orders as assigned.nnPerform equipment change-overs and production line set ups.nnThis is a bargaining union position - represented by Local 773, International Brotherhood of TeamstersnnMinimum Qualifications:nnMust Pass the Ramsey Test for Maintenance MechanicnnBlow Molding experience preferred.nnVocational certification preferred.nn1-5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.nn1+ years of mechanical/electrical experience preferred.nnPrior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.nnPrevious experience within high-speed industrial environment.nnDemonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.nnBasic computer skills.nnAbility to follow manufacturer's specifications and schematics.nnProgrammable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge preferred.nnResponsibilities and Job Duties:nnActively participates as a self-directed and committed member of a team and working with other team members to achieve the department and plant goals and objectives.nnCarries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.nnTroubleshoots or performs necessary repairs to maintain the operation of equipment and systems in the areas of responsibilities such as process and packaging equipment, warehouse, electrical distribution, compressed air, boiler room equipment, refrigeration, instrumentation, treated water and waste water treatment facilities.nnInstalls machinery and equipment as required.nnDevelops PM / REPAIR tasks and enters them into SAP-PM database.nnEnters all work performed and parts used in SAP-PM database.nnPerforms preventative maintenance on production machinery and facilities according to PM schedules.nnActively audit plant equipment and participates in the process of ordering, inventory and stocking of spare parts.nnPerforms general maintenance including welding, basic electric, plumbing and carpentry, fabricates and installs parts when necessary, and documents all repair or maintenance work done on any equipment using Maximo system.
