Hazmat Qualified Operator
Project Overview: We are commencing a new project and are seeking a Hazmat qualified operator. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating extended reach forklifts and skid steers. This role demands dedication, commitment, and a strong emphasis on safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate extended reach forklifts and skid steers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Handle hazardous materials with strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure operational safety.
- Coordinate with the project team to achieve project goals and timelines.
- Conduct site assessments and participate in safety meetings.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Respond to emergencies and hazardous material spills following established procedures.
Requirements

- Certification: Must have completed 40 hours of HAZWOPER training with an 8-hour refresher.
- Experience: Prior experience operating extended reach forklifts and skid steers.
- Skills: Strong understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous materials handling.
