We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Utility Pole Transport Driver to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely transporting utility poles from manufacturing plants to customers across the Southeast and Northeast United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions. Essential Functions:
Transport utility poles from manufacturing plants to customers throughout the Southeast and Northeast United States.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Interact with dispatcher to plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
Interact with customers and contractors.
Abide by electronic logging device regulations.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods, etc.) as well as company policies and procedures.
Be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays, during emergencies/storms.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Collect and verify delivery instructions.
Report defects, accidents, or violations.

No recent moving or driving violations.
No recent drug/alcohol convictions or pending charges.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Ability to perform minor truck maintenance.
Ability to travel out of state for extended periods.
