Description General Summary :
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly semi-annual, and annual maintenance checks as needed.
- Have a good knowledge of maintenance equipment and their function as related to their use. Having a working interpretation of Hydraulic, Electrical, Pneumatic schematics also understand the basics of PLC functions
- Problems solve for existing maintenance issues and possible maintenance issues that may occur.
- Work well independently as well as in a team environment.
- Perform tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- Represents company and self well.
Responsibilities :
- Repair equipment and works with minimal supervision.
- Read and understands engineering documents as needed.
- Maintains own and encourages others a neat safe workplace.
- Chooses the best process for the job.
- Meet schedule for task completion, take corrective action when a
timeline is in trouble, efficient routing of job through shop.
- Continuously improving self and skill.
- Can foresee equipment problems and suggest solutions
- Accepts mistakes when made, rarely makes same error twice and assists others in preventing similar mistakes.
- Taking instructions and attending to the work assignment instructions of the maintenance manager.
- Ability to make independent judgments when the maintenance manager is
absent.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
12. Ability to work independently, as well as with others
Requirements Education and Skill Requirements :
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Additional education and schooling may be required to be taken.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical properties as related to the injection/blow molding industry is a plus
- Ability to be forklift certified.
