The technician will troubleshoot equipment issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. All tasks are performed while supporting the safety policies, financial goals, and objectives of the company.nnEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesnnRepair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, coating equipment, slitters, compressed air systems, pumps and facilities equipment/infrastructurennProvide general preventative maintenance of HVAC systems equipment (non-coolant applications)nnProvide general electrical repair/maintenance and installation electronic controls/equipmentnnPerform electrical shutdown/startup of low to medium voltage equipmentnnPerform preventative maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on all production and facilities equipmentnnParticipate in plant safety and continuous improvement programsnnEnsure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followednnPurchase replacement and repair parts to rebuild/repair equipment in a timely manner within budgetary constraints.nnTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Post-secondary education in HVAC, electronics or industrial mechanics preferred.nnMinimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment working with hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics troubleshooting and repair.
