Pay rate: $28 - $36/hr.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
HVAC Technician essential tasks:
- Journeyman-level HVAC experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing equipment.
- Experience with LM Buildings work order system.
- Timely and professional response to house calls per operational procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Collaborate effectively with contractors and departments to maintain a positive work environment.
- Document events including malfunctions, tenant complaints, and contractor activities.
- Record significant incidents such as weather events, mechanical failures, and security concerns.
- Ability to assist with snow removal as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or vocational training and 2-4 years of experience.
- EPA 608 certification (Universal) and Mechanical IV HVAC License; journeyman-level HVAC expertise.
- Facilities maintenance skills, including chiller, RTU, and VAV operations.
- Proficiency with hand tools, metalworking tools, computer skills, and reading blueprints/drawings.
- Must be eligible for and able to obtain a DOD security clearance and participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
