Responsibilities

    The Truck Driver drives a truck to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers between various types of establishments such as:

    n
  • n
  • n

    Cargo Yards

    n
  • n
  • n

    Installation Transportation Division

    n
  • n
  • n

    McChord Airfield

    n
  • n
  • n

    Freight depots

    n
  • n
  • n

    Warehouses

    n
  • n
  • n

    This driver may also load or unload truck with or without helpers, make minor mechanical repairs, and keep truck in good working order.

    Sales route and over-the-road drivers are excluded.

Qualifications

    Valid CDL A

  • n

    Valid CDL Operator Medical Card

    Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 Investigation result and obtain a common access card (CAC)

    Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening

  • n

    Ability to complete Ammunition Courses: AMMO 67

  • n
  • n

    High School Diploma / Equivalent

    Knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures
