Maintenance TechnnPaying $22 / HR - $28 / HRnnLocation - Portland, ORnnResponsibilities:nnPrioritizes keeping production line running and promptly communicates to production supervisors.nnPerforms preventive maintenance, set-up and repair work on equipment associated with food processing and packaging.nnTroubleshoots and repairs Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conveyors, Pumps, Gear boxes, Glycol System, Motors and Mechanical linkage.nnCorrects any abnormalities found and reports potential downtime situations to the maintenance manager.nnMaintains records and logs of work orders and work order request as needed.nnComplies with all Departmental policies and procedures, and prepares any reports required for control, audit or reporting purposes.nnQualifications:nn1-3 years maintenance experience preferred or applicable training.nnExperience with food processing and packaging equipment.nnPneumatic and mechanical linkage repair experience.nnThorough knowledge of standard hand and power tools and equipment used in plant maintenance and repair activities.nnGood mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.nnSome fabrication skills including using drill press, mill and lathe machine.nnAbility to prioritize workload for maximum plant efficiency and minimum downtime.nnGood communication skills, organized, and attention to detail.nnAbility to work in a fast paced and stressful environment.nnBasic math associated with maintenance activities.nnEnvironment/ Shift:nnDay shift, Monday - Friday.nnFood production and distribution.nnEmployee Value Proposition:nnEmployer paid benefits.nnOngoing training and skillset advancement.nnAny qualified candidate will have ability to interview within 24 hours with potential following week start date.
