This is a 1st shift position, working from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays and weekends. As a Machine Shop Helper, you will be responsible for grinding, parts running, and assisting with welding tasks.nnResponsibilitiesnnAssist with grinding and parts running in the machine shopnnPerform welding tasks including MIG and Fluxcore on thicker gauge steelnnSupport fabricators with various tasks including tank and pipe weldingnnAssist in building machines and operating manual machinery such as brake presses and roll pressesnnUtilize hand tools and follow blueprints to complete assigned tasksnnMaintain a clean and organized work environmentnnEssential SkillsnnExperience in a machine shop environmentnnProficiency in MIG and Fluxcore weldingnnAbility to work with thicker gauge steelnnFamiliarity with grinding and fabrication processesnnSkill in using hand tools and reading blueprintsnnAdditional Skills & QualificationsnnExperience with tank and pipe weldingnnKnowledge of stainless steel weldingnnCapability to assist in machine building and operating older manual machinerynnWhy Work Here?nnJoin a team that values growth and longevity.
