Job Summary
The Commercial Driver- Delivery safely transports equipment, supplies, linens, etc., between TGH and remote facilities. Includes both routine and special requests using vans and trucks. Responsible for maintaining logs regarding cargo transported, arrival and departure times, and miles traveled. Responsible for loading/unloading of goods, may at times oversee the process. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months' experience in the operation of large motor vehicle equipment, including trucks and/or buses.
• A current Commercial Driver's License (passenger endorsement required for Shuttle), with less than seven (7) points; depending on the type of infraction, this can be up to the discretion of management.
• Must also possess current Department of Transportation medical certificate.
