POSITION SUMMARY: Air Force One is looking for an experienced Commercial Service Technician with 3+ years of experience. The HVAC Service Technician performs maintenance and service repairs on refrigeration and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent
- Apprenticeship and/or formal training in HVAC preferred
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience
- Universal EPA Certification required
- OSHA certification
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Clean background check
REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide maximum customer service and professional communication to all associates and customers.
- Effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Working knowledge of temperature/pressure chart.
- Read thermometers and gauges, records readings.
- Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital signals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on the following types of HVAC systems:
- Exhaust Fans
- Circulating Pumps
- Unit Heaters
- VAV Boxes
- Split Systems 1 thru 5 Ton 1 PH
- Package Units 1 thru 5 Ton 1 PH
- Systems with scroll and sealed hermetic compressors
- Single phase & three phase motors
- Heating systems with atmospheric burners and induced draft motors
- All residential type furnaces
- Medium temperature refrigeration systems
- Cooling towers
- Direct and indirect fired makeup air units
- Built -up Air Handlers
- Variable frequency drives
- Ductless split systems
PREFERRED RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on the following types of HVAC systems:
- Low Temperature Refrigeration Systems
- Boiler Systems-Low Pressure Hydronic & Steam
- Boiler Systems with Power Burners
- Air Cooled Chiller
- Rotary-Screw Compressors
- Pneumatics Air Compressors and Systems
