We have several steps in our quality process and an inspector could be placed in a variety of areas. Our quality processes start at receiving inspection to make sure the components we use meet our standards. AOI inspectors manage an Automated Optical Inspection process to verify circuit boards coming off our manufacturing lines are correct. After all manufacturing processes are complete, we have IPQC (In Process Quality Control) inspectors complete a final visual inspection of product.nnWho are we?nnFounded in 1849, Ducommun is the oldest company in California. We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.nnOur Facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma manufactures state-of-the-art circuit boards for Aerospace and Defense.nnWhy Ducommun?nnExcellent company culture – as recognized by Newsweek’s Top 100 Most Loved WorkplacesnnClean and climate-controlled working environmentnnOpportunity for career growthnnGreat benefits including paid vacation and sick time, 401K match, Employee Stock Purchase Program, annual bonus plan, and tuition reimbursement.nnJob SummarynnInspect electrical equipment to ensure customer standards.nnPerform first piece / first article inspectionsnnPerform receiving inspection on raw materials, in-process inspection on work in progress, final inspection on completed assemblies per documentation and record resultsnnInspect a variety of electronic components and assemblies such as printed wiring boards, connectors with attached wires, flexible circuits, crimped or soldered wires, a variety of molded parts and/or the use of such materials in electronic arrangements of various degrees of complexity.nnCheck for availability of tools, equipment and materials; receive or relocate materials from preceding operation or storage area as needed; arrange workplace, equipment and materials for proper working procedure as required.nnEnsure all required paperwork is received and previous operations indicated on the documents are completed in accordance with established procedures prior to conducting an inspection.nnComplete rejected material dispositions (RMD) paperwork and process for approval.nnMaintain and where required, calibrate equipment used in inspection and manufacturing processes.nnProvide technical support to co-workers, suppliers or customers, including identifying and correcting specific problems.nnMay provide on-the-job-training (OJT) for other inspectors.nnMay assume limited supervisor responsibilities in the absence of the Quality Supervisor.nnAdhere to the General Requirements of Team MembersnnPerform other assignments as requirednnRequired Skills and QualificationsnnProficient use of inspection tools and associated technical documents including but not limited to the following: voltmeters, micrometers, hand stamp, eye loop, pedestal mounted magnifying glass or scope with light, in-process work sheets, drawings, blueprints, specifications sheets, bills of material, a variety of jigs and fixtures for examining components and assemblies and calibrated measuring rules.nnExcellent written and verbal skills to interact with people at all levels inside and outside of DucommunnnKnowledge of required standards, as identified in training matrix, including ISO and Mil Specs.nnIntermediate level computer proficiency including e-mail, Word, and ExcelnnMust have good documentation skills; attention to detail is criticalnnAbilities listed in the General Requirements of Team MembersnnRequired Experience and EducationnnHigh school diploma required, college education or business school preferred.nnMinimum 2 years of electrical inspection experience preferred.nnLicenses, Certifications, etc.nnMust be capable of satisfactorily completing the training and certifications identified in training matrix.nnSee training matrix for facility specific trainingnnEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disablednn11616 East 51st StreetnnTulsa, Oklahoma, 74146nnUnited States
