This position is ideal for those looking to elevate their HVAC career by diving deep into the world of intelligent building systems.What this job involves: As our BAS Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of smart building technology, working with both new and legacy Siemens Controls. You'll collaborate closely with our controls team to design and implement state-of-the-art HVAC/BAS solutions that optimize energy efficiency and occupant comfort.What your day-to-day will look like:nDevelop complex control logic for HVAC systems.nImplement advanced energy trending and analysis.nOperate and troubleshoot sophisticated energy management equipment.nManage various BAS software applications.nDesign innovative HVAC solutions using the latest in building automation technology.nBuild strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.nEvaluate and propose cutting-edge approaches to HVAC challenges.nCollaborate with BAS control engineers to create tailored building management solutions.nDevelop and optimize programming logic for peak HVAC system performance.nDiagnose and repair electronic/pneumatic control system issues.nConsult with clients to address operational challenges and propose system enhancements.nProvide expert training on BAS operations.nDocument job completions, training sessions, and system recommendations.Work Schedule: 7AM - 3:30PM, Monday - FridayDesired or preferred experience and technical skills:nAssociate degree in HVAC technology or related field.nExperience with industry-specific software applications.nKnowledge of various electronic/digital control systems and industry protocols (BACnet, Modbus).nFamiliarity with biopharmaceutical GMP environments.nUnderstanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).nExperience with CMMS systems, particularly Maximo.Required Skills and Experience:nHigh school diploma or equivalent, plus trade school or apprenticeship in HVAC.n5+ years of experience in electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.nProficiency in Microsoft Office suite.nAbility to work in various physical environments and handle equipment up to 50 pounds.nValid driver's license.This unionized role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of HVAC and cutting-edge building automation technology.
