Job Summary:nnThe Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of technicians to manage the maintenance needs of the facility. They will be responsible for managing the daily work and performance of every employee on assigned shifts to achieve team and company objects.nnDuties/ Responsibilities:nnOversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.nnOrganizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff.nnConducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.nnHandles discipline of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.nnEvaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.nnAssesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.nnDevelops maintenance procedures and schedules.nnEnsures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.nnAssists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.nnPerforms other related duties as assigned.nnRequired Skills/Abilities:nnExtensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.nnExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.nnAbility to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.nnAbility to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.nnExcellent management and supervisory skills.nnEducation and Experience:nnHigh school diploma or equivalent required.nnPreferred post high school training or degree in related field.nnAt least 10 years of maintenance experience required.nnAt least 5 years supervision experience in the manufacturing environment required.nnCNC machine maintenance experience a plus!nnPhysical Requirements:nnThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
