Job Summary
n
Mirbeau Inn and Spa is looking to add a Host/Hostess to the Willow Restaurant at the Rhinebeck Mirbeau Inn & Spa location.
Responsibilities
n
n- Ensure tables, silverware and glasses are clean and properly set up.
n- Take and schedule reservations by phone and in person.
n- Greet guests, escort them to their tables, present menus, and make course recommendations upon request.
n- Ensure guests receive prompt courteous service and respond to complaints and comments or refer the responses to the Restaurant Manager.
n- Supervise service to assist servers when needed.
n- Complete the guest satisfaction cycle by thanking guests and inviting them to return with a fond farewell.
n- Ensure no section of the dining room is overlooked.
n- Check with the guest if everything is satisfactory.
n- Refill water for guests at tables.
n- Care for decoration of the dining room for special events if needed.
n- Perform any assignments as directed by the Restaurant Manager.

Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements
n
This position requires a pleasant personality and neat appearance, along with excellent people, verbal and writing skills. Prior experience in the industry is preferred.
