This is a field position to support the QA/QC activities. Responsibilities may also include supporting additional APTIM Projects as needed.nnWhat you can expect from APTIM:nnWork that is worthy of your time and talentnnRespect and flexibility to live a full life at work and at home.nnDogged determination to deliver for our clients and communities.nnA voice in making our company better.nnInvestment into your personal and professional developmentnnKey Responsibilities/Accountabilities:nnConduct thorough daily field inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with FDOT specifications, plans, and safety standards.nnVerify that materials and workmanship meet the project requirements and FDOT standards.nnPrepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports, and inspection reports.nnDocument any non-conformance issues and ensure they are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.nnPerform test evaluations on materials and workmanship as required by the project specifications and FDOT guidelines.nnMonitor contractor compliance with project plans, specifications, and contract requirements.nnCommunicate effectively with CEI Project Administrator, Senior Project Engineer, and FDOT representatives regarding project progress and issues.nnAssist in resolving issues by providing recommendations and working with the project team and contractors.nnAssist in training new inspection staff on FDOT standards and project-specific requirements.nnEnsure all documentation is organized and readily accessible for review and audits.nnProvide and enforce a culture of safety on the job site.nnAssist in final inspection and project closeout process, ensuring all punch list items are completed to FDOT standards.nnPrepare final inspection reports and documentation for project completion.nnQualifications:nnCTQP Qualifications: Final Estimates Level 2 (required); QC Manager (required); Asphalt Level 2 and/or Earthwork Level 2 (may be required)nnCertifications: FDOT Advanced MOTnnAdditional Job InformationnnAPTIM is committed to providing a benefits package that accomplishes the primary purpose of our programs which is to protect and promote the health and financial well-being of our employees and their families.
