We have an exciting opportunity for an MEP Superintendent ! Gpac, a 30+ year-old recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the Mechanical industry.
The ideal candidate will oversee the field operations of MEP systems on construction projects, ensuring the work meets design specifications and quality standards. They will be responsible for managing daily activities, coordinating with on-site teams, and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely completion. The MEP Superintendent will become familiar with our competitive advantages and apply this knowledge to streamline project workflows and maintain high safety and efficiency standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience managing large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects, such as schools, federal buildings, labs, and state buildings.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate on-site foremen, union crews, general contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, process piping, electrical, and plumbing installations.
  • Ability to read and understand plans, specs, drawings, contracts, cost sheets/buyouts, and purchase orders.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Maintain strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and reporting progress.
  • Ability to resolve on-site issues and adapt to dynamic project needs.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience in MEP construction supervision, including ground-up and remodeling projects.
  • OSHA 30 certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with scheduling software and construction management tools.
  • Familiarity with blueprints and the ability to read and interpret technical documents.
