What You Will Do as a CNA Have a passion for serving others through love? As a Stonerise Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you are a critical member of a patient's care team at our transitional and skilled nursing care centers (also called "nursing homes"), where we serve both short-term and long-term patients. Some of your primary responsibilities include:
- Provide direct care and support to patients under the supervision of a RN or LPN
- Utilize appropriate resources to provide care and support for assigned patients
- Administer showers, bed baths, or tub baths according to patients' plan of care
- Provide oral hygiene including denture care
- Respond to patient call lights
- Assist patients with meals and feeding
- Assist patients in range of motion, mobility and ambulation
- Transport patients to scheduled activities
- Complete required forms including intake and output, food intake, flow sheet, accident/incident report, patient clothing sheet and CNA flow sheet
- Attend to patient hygiene needs
- Promote good customer service and a safe, nurturing environment

Education, Licensure & Certification Requirements - State-approved nursing assistant program completion and successfully pass the Nurse Aide Competency Exam and maintain active certification.
- Attend required number of educational programs per month/quarter.
