As servant leaders, we lead by example.nShift Details: Monday-Friday (6:00am to 2:30pm) Hours will varynPay Details: $29/hr (Great benefits after 30 days)nPosition SummarynThe purpose of this role is to make deliveries, pickups and yard moves in a safe, efficient and timely manner, as directed by dispatch and plant management using company owned vehicles.nAccountabilitiesnnEngage in Safety to ensure Plan To Zero (PTZ) is metnnConduct all activities and perform all job duties and functions following strict adherence to established, company implemented safety behaviors, processes, and procedures.nOperate in accordance with CSA 2010 7 BasicsnComplete all required truck and trainer inspections, yard checks, and other misc. paperwork.nnImprove and maintain Quality ExpectationsnnMake deliveries, pickups and yard moves in an efficient and timely manner, as directed by dispatch and plant management.nEffectively communicate with management on equipment needs and repairs as they arise.nEffectively communicate with site personnel, customers, vendors and business partners in a professional business appropriate manner.nnProduction Expectations are understood, achieved and sustainednnProduction-based position; must be able to effectively meet minimum production and quality requirements.nAny other duties as assigned by site leadership.nnMission and ValuesnnAble to effectively work within a diverse team environment.nnGeneral ResponsibilitiesnnPerform sanitation, •Clean as You Go,• and good housekeeping practices in the assigned tractor and trailers and as direct by site leadership.nAbility to lift up to 70 lbs. consistently throughout duration of shift.nnQualificationsnn5+ years of Over the Road experience, with a clean driving record.nCurrent CDL Class A License Required.nCurrent DOT Physical.nClean driving record.nSuccessfully pass Random Drug Screens.nExperience in a fast-paced, production based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.nHigh School Diploma, GED, or comparable work related experience preferred.nnRehrig Pacific Company is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
