Role Description:

We’re hiring a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law. You must possess experience in the following areas:

• Conducting legal research and analysis on various issues
• Taking depositions of clients, defendants, expert witnesses
• Participating in arbitrations, mediations, and trials
• Preparing legal documents like pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Representing clients in court hearings and proceedings
• Negotiating settlements and drafting settlement agreements
• Assisting with trial preparation and strategy

Requirements:

• Admission to the Illinois State Bar
• Trial experience which includes plaintiff personal injury cases on behalf of plaintiff.
• Experience in court ordered mandatory arbitration and alternative dispute mediation
• Experience in AAA underinsured cases
• Experience with having a caseload of prelitigation cases and trials at the same time
