The Market Distribution Center (MDC) Manager is responsible for the overall operation and production of the Philadelphia facility.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all functions such as purchasing, hiring, human resources, product planning, orders, production forecasts and delivery logistics.
• Order and maintain inventory for Flowers and Hardgoods while meeting budget goals.
• Manage continual process improvements and prepare high level reports and analyses for Senior Managements' review on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable working environment in the facility while managing training, development, performance management initiatives, and more.
• As a holiday centric company, the Manager will oversee all holiday planning and operations.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of Production/Warehouse experience working in fast-paced environment
• Flexibility with schedule and travel needs.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• MS Office Suite experience required
• Floral experience preferred
• Food Safety License preferred
• Ability to work in hot and cold temps for extended periods of time as well as work on one’s feet for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to climb up and down ladders (10+ or more feet high) to access storage racking while carrying boxes that can weigh 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to carry delicate floral arrangements throughout the footprint of the facility as well as down steps as necessary to load delivery vehicles that can range from sub-compact cars to box trucks.
• Ability to complete physical inspections as needed.
