About the Role - We are seeking a full-time mid-level to Senior Associate Attorney with experience in family law. The mid-level to Senior Associate Attorney will assist with managing a diverse portfolio of Family Law cases.

Responsibilities -

• Consult with clients to ascertain the details and merits of each case.
• Conduct legal research using case law, legislation and other legal texts.
• Draft legal documents, including Petitions, Responses, Request for Orders, Trial Briefs, Points & Authorities, etc.
• Represent clients at meetings, court hearings, and trials.
• Ensure all communication with clients remains confidential and are stored securely.
• Bill appropriately for all tasks salient to each case.
• Work effectively with paralegal and administrative staff; and
• Join and attend a networking group such as BNI or ProVisors.

Qualifications - License to practice law in the State of California.

Required Skills -

• Open minded and willing to collaborate with Senior Attorneys.
• A minimum of seven years’ Family Law experience will be considered.
• Exceptional problem-solving decision-making abilities.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask.
• Capacity to perform skills well under stress.
• Strong, clear and concise communication skills.
• Required minimal billables of 6 hours per day.

Pay range and compensation package - Pay is commensurate with experience. A sign-on bonus may be available for candidates with seven plus years’ experience and a CFLS designation.
