Job Description: The Production Operator/Welder is in charge to: Perform production tasks in factory on dedicated workstations Pilot, clean, maintain assembly and test robots Assemble and inspect finished product to ensure defined quality level on timePay Rate: $24.50/hour with overtime opportunities available.Your Responsibilities will include: Execute assembly and welding of parts made of stainless steel on plates from 1,5mm to 6mm thickness in all welding positions performing the welding process: MIG / MAG, regulating and preparing the welding equipment according to internal instruction (voltage, amperage, welding speed, oscillation, flow of shielding gas and so on). Use tools, equipment and instruments such as: measuring tape, scale, square and gauges to make visual weld checking. Conduct assembly before welding, positioning the parts and performing tack welds to place them at the correct location, verifying the quality, specifications and measurements of the drawing. Monitor the activities of other welding technicians, conveying instructions, technical norms, drawings, technical guidance and organization/cleaning of the equipment / workstations, to help them fulfill their activities within the deadlines established and comply with quality norms. Use the APSYS tools (5s / Autonomous Team / SMED / TPM / Self Inspection / Shop Floor Meeting). Execute welding activities according to the needs of the area and through specific qualifications.Qualification: SENAI or equivalent in training / course to be Arc Welder at technical school.
