Supply Chain Technician 1
The Supply Chain Tech is responsible for receiving and distributing supplies to medical center units and affiliates.
The technician may be assigned to one of four main functions:
- Supply re-stocking (patient care areas)
- Order sorting and distribution (Central Supply)
- Resupply cart stocking (CSUP Resupply area)
- Shipping/receiving (Receiving dock)
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, pack, and unpack supplies for storage or delivery.
- Accurately count and record stock items.
- Verify inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
- Check received supplies for accuracy and damage, reporting issues to the supervisor.
- Meet performance standards and timelines.
- Operate AGV system supply carts and maintain cleanliness in storage areas.
- Answer phone calls according to department guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One year of experience in a service role or similar position.
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
- Ability to safely operate powered equipment.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with personal computers is preferred.
Available Schedules:
- Day Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
- Mid Shift: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
Note:
- Because this is a healthcare facility employees will be required to pass a medical assessment including vaccinations, along with a standard background check and drug screening.
