The Richmond Group USA, Manufacturing Search division has been engaged to find a senior level strategic sourcing professional with a passion for electronics and a knack for driving operational efficiency to join an extremely well-financed, rapidly growing electronic products manufacturer . In this corporate strategic sourcing role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's three North American manufacturing sites. Working closely with the Global VP of Operations, you will focus on:

• Sourcing electronics, components, and contract manufacturing services to support the company's production needs.
• Developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, including new supplier sourcing, cost negotiations, supplier performance management, and value engineering/cost reduction activities .
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex contracts and manage supplier relationships, including category management, strategic sourcing, contracting, and supplier management .
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proficiency in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and vendor management.
• Experience in sourcing electronic components and materials within the electronics industry.
• Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
