We are seeking a board-certified hospitalist from November 29 to December 6, 2024 with potential for future shifts. Typically 12-15 hr shifts + night call in Tillamook, Oregon.
Coverage dates needed: 11/29/2024-12/6/2024 with orientation on 11/29/24.
- 25 bed critical access Hospital, Hospitalist service
- 4 ICU beds
- PROCEDURES: EKG interpretation, Intubation, nuclear stress tests/Lexiscan and treadmill stress tests (highly automated process), vent management (must have managed at least 10 vented patients in the last two years)
- Level 4 trauma center
- Average daily census: 10.17 (January-May 2024)
- 24/7 call coverage
- Swing bed
- EMR/EHR-Cerner with Dragon dictation
- Housing: call room/hospitalist suite provided with small fridge and microwave, night before assignment provided locally
- Accessible from Portland, OR airport (will need to drive approx 1.5 hours from airport)
- Orientation will be on day of arrival
Requirements
- Must be Board Certified
- Must have OR license
- +2 year experience required
- Vent Management and central lines required
- Logs required for emergent intubations of at least 3-5 in the past 24 months
