  • Coverage Needed
    • December 24 - January 3
    • 10 - 14 days per month
  • Schedule
    • Call only
  • Clinical Details
    • Call / inpatient GI coverage. Call burden is estimated at 3 - 5 phone consults per day with 1 - 2 patients requiring procedural or in person support
    • 1 - 5 patients per shift
  • Requirements
    • Board certified required
    • Fellowship required
    • Active TX license required
    • ABLS, BLS required
  • Call
    • Beeper
    • 30 minute response time
    • call ratio: 1:2
    • call back %: 3
    • Average call # per 24 hr.
      • phone consults: 5
      • patients seen: 1 - 2
      • admissions: 1 - 2
  • EMR
    • Medhost
