Job Description
Locums - Salem, Oregon, OB/GYN Job Clinical Role:
    • Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees!
    • Start Date: As soon as credentialed
    • Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing
    • Shift Details: 24hr shifts highly preferred. If 24's are not an option will consider a provider to work 12hr night shifts, 7p-7a
    • Schedule: 5-6 24hr shifts/month
    • Support Staff: Midwives, 24hr in house Anesthesiologist
    • Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Will consider providers with as little as 2 24's/month but highly prefer someone able to work 5-6 24's/month
    • Patients per day: 2300 deliveries on average/year. Around 30-40/month for this OB group. Another 30-40/month for the midwifery group. 2 other provider groups that also work out of this facility
    • Patient Population/Age: Newborn-Adult
    • Department Description: Will cover emergent GYN procedures. Should be comfortable to treat emergent cases as well as triage. Hospital has a level III NICU
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Special Procedures: Routine GYN procedures
    • Practice Setting: Hospital
    • Board Certified - Required
    • License Required: Active OR license required. Will consider non-licensed depending on if it's in process and timeline. Urgent need so would like someone already licensed to expedite credentialing
    • NRP, ACLS, BLS, DEA - Required
