We are partnering with a leading healthcare provider in Fort Worth, TX, to identify a skilled Manager of Ortho Neuro Med Surg RN . This role offers a unique opportunity to take on 24-hour accountability for the effective and efficient operations of the Neurosurgical Medical-Surgical department, under the supervision of the Director of Progressive Care. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and accountability for the Neurosurgical Medical-Surgical department.
- Ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality patient care that aligns with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Oversee operational and capital budget goals.
- Perform hourly rounding and respond promptly to patient needs and requests.
- Collaborate as an interdisciplinary team member to support patient outcomes and departmental success.
- Maintain patient safety by following hospital policies, including infection control and personal protective equipment protocols.
- Assist with new employee orientation and promote cost-effective practices without compromising quality of care.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN license in the state of Texas or Compact State licensure.
- 3-5 years of recent acute care leadership experience in an ICU or neurological unit.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Demonstrated clinical practice within the last 2-5 years in the area of expertise.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet department goals.
- Experience with interdisciplinary team collaboration and fiscal responsibility.
