Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.Position Summary: Sterile Processing Manager, 40 hours DaysJob Description: The Manager of Central Sterile Processing is responsible for all medical/surgical sterile and supply-related functions. The responsibility entails operations and quality of service provided, employee development, operating and capital budget accountability and short/long-term planning.A typical day of the Manager is spent rounding with supervisors and staff, addressing any issues or barriers that arise, completing staff schedules, preparing, and holding monthly staff meetings, attending, and contributing to shift reports, helping the teamwork through and achieve set goals, assigning team goals, and working through departmental statistics and records to ensure accuracy. This role is also responsible for working closely with EVS, Infection Control, and Regulatory to ensure the department is always survey ready.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Associates Degree in Business or related field highly preferred. High School Diploma required. Certification/Licensure: Must have a Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution or Certified Registered Central Service Technician provisional certification. Experience: Two to Five Years experience in Central Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology. Two to Three years supervisory or team lead experience highly preferred.
