Parts Counter Associate
We are seeking talented, energetic and motivated individuals with the ambition to become part of our team. You must have a Can-Do attitude. Experience is not needed though certainly valued. Whether you are new to the industry or have years of automotive experience we are looking for individuals to work in the fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assists all customers (retail & shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professionally & efficiently.
- Informs customers of part requirements and specials.
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Pulls and fills orders from stock.
- Notifies manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order -if necessary.
- Notifies all necessary parties when special ordered parts have been received.
- Follows up on back-ordered parts and replenishes assigned inventory daily.
- Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
- Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
- Ensure that all charge sales are signed by the customer and all customers receive a copy of their invoice.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to maintain a professional image and demeanor.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer & phone skills.
- Positive attitude is a must!
- Qualifications:
- Parts experienced preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team player
- Maintain an organized, orderly and clean work environment.
- Schedule/Hours are based on a 5-day rotating weekly schedule.
- M-F (8am-5pm/8:30am-5:30pm/ 9am-6pm)
- Saturday schedule (7am-4pm/8am-5pm/9am-6pm)
