** This role is not open for submission from outside staffing agencies**Production Lami Helper 1st ShiftLocated atAmerican Insulated Glass, LLC3965 E Conley Rd.Conley, GA 30288What Brought You HerePay range $16 Per hourQuarterly safety bonus opportunitiesShift Days and Hours are Monday - Friday 7 AM- 6 PMBenefitsWho You Are:A highly motivated individual who takes pride in their work, wants to perform their role in a timely and efficient manner while producing good quality product, and wants to grow in their knowledge and experience while helping the organization to be successful.What You Will Be Doing:Handling, measuring, moving, and lifting of glass for cutting, finishing and/or loadingWork in safe and professional manner while handling flat glass products.Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using other equipment throughout the warehouse as directed by management.Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needsSort materials before loading and unloadingEnsure damaged product is placed in its proper area and reported to managementAttach identifying tags to product or mark them with identifying informationInstall protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.Adjust or replace equipment parts, such as rollers, belts, plugs, or caps, using hand toolsMaintain a safety-first work environment, utilizing proactive safety and ensuring all associates adhere to personal protective gear requirements and standard operating procedures.Skills You Bring:Must be at least 18 years old.1 year manufacturing or warehouse experience preferredMust be able to stand, twist, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.Able to read a tape measure and match the correct label with the correct lite of glass.Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis.Must be able to work in a noisy environment.Must be able to work in hot or cold temperatures.Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, stand, sit, lift, push, and pull repetitively and/or throughout the duration of the shift.Steel toe boots required (not company provided).Knowledge of and ability to follow all health, safety, quality, and labor standards applying to your area of responsibility.Passing pre-employment requirements such as physical, drug screen, weight lift test, and criminal background check are condition of employment for all positions.Why Trulite and AIG: American Insulated Glass is a leading glass fabricator and wholesale distributor, specializing in providing high-quality insulated, laminated, tempered, fire-rated and beveled glass products to glazing contractors and window manufacturers.
