Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX H & O Dental Lab in Manchester, NH for a Full-Time Dental Laboratory Technician - Experienced in Implants.
The regular hours for this position are from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday (No Fridays), and subject to change from time to time.

There are classifications or levels of the Dental Laboratory Technician position: Dental Lab Technician I, II, and III. These levels are assigned based on experience, skill, and training in the fabrication process.
A Dental Laboratory Technician in the Crown and Bridge department may be trained on, and/or assigned to regularly perform one or more of the functions shown below in the processing of a Crown and Bridge appliance.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Pour positive models from impressions supplied by dentists using liquid stone mixture.
- Number all models and impressions with case number.
- Trim models with bulk and or fine trimmer.
- Pindex models and place pins in dies.
- Saw out dies using proper technique to make dies removable for fabrication.
- Apply die hardener and die spacer to dies.
- Place models on appropriate type of articulator using correct technique articulating to correct bite relationship.
- Prepare specialty models including epoxy models and those for implant cases and combination cases.
- Fabricate soft tissue models.
- Fit crowns to abutments, sandblast abutments and write tooth numbers on the facial of abutment.
- Wax cases to correct specifications.
- Fit all work to a solid poured or digitally printed model.
- Choose correct porcelain.
- Build to correct contour, blend and occlusion.
- Stain and glaze with crown clean-up functions on posterior restorations.
- Complete esthetic anterior PFZ, PFM and full contour cases.
- Fire at the correct temperature and for the appropriate amount of time.
- Steam clean required items.
- Return items to proper pan.
- Complete cases according to work ticket schedule.
- Scan and initial cases as required.
- Perform basic porcelain repairs according to Technical Team Policies (TTP's).
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities that may be Required: - Knowledge of tooth anatomy
- Ability to articulate according to Rx
- Knowledge of materials (i.e. stones, acrylic)
- Identify through Impressions margins
- Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English.
Minimum Education and Experience Required: - High School diploma or GED preferred
- Verifiable relevant employment experience may be considered in lieu of education
Hazardous Materials or Equipment that may be Used: - Laboratory equipment that may include: grinders, lathes, ovens, burners, steamers and boiling water.
Physical Abilities that may be Required: - Sitting for long periods of time, uncommon posture when fabricating and continuous maneuvering of hands and fingers while working with small tools.
