Are you an experienced Staff Engineer on the Front-End with a passion for creating seamless and engaging user interfaces? Flybits is looking for a Staff Engineer to join our dynamic team, driving the development of our user interfaces using React and Vue.js. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with backend engineers and other cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch user experiences.
Must-have qualifications/tasks:
Lead the architecture and design of complex front-end systems and applications using React
Experience with various JavaScript frameworks (Vue.JS preferred)
Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and consistency across the stack.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other front-end engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with backend development and integration to create seamless end-to-end solutions.
Contribute to the strategic planning of product development and technical direction.
Experience with a DevOps pipeline in a cloud environment
Experience with state management libraries
Knowledge of front-end build tools and package managers
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Nice-to-have Qualifications:
Building design system libraries (UI reusable components)
Testing in Cypress
Progressive Web Apps experience preferably utilizing Service Workers
Native Web Components
