SMART is actively recruiting locum clinicians for emergency medicine coverage in Austin, TX. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and ongoing for the next 6+ months.
Additional Details Include:

• BC/BE Emergency Medicine
• Active TX license
• EM Annual Vol: 44k
• Trauma Level IV
• Fast Track: Yes, 4 beds
• 120 Pts. p/day to be split with all providers.
• Admits: approx. 20%
• Current: 3 MD model, 12 hr. shifts, transition to below in the future.
• Physician: Sat & Sun: 7a-5p, 12p-10p, 9p-7a; Mon- Fri: 7a-4p, 12p-10p, 4p-1a, 10p-7a
• EMR: Epic
• SMART covers malpractice, travel and accommodations
