Also, maintains office supplies, equipment and material inventory to support educational activities.Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.Work Experience: 1 - 2 years related experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: PC skills with demonstrated abilities for correspondence and data entry; including Microsoft Office applications Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to effectively work within a team, meet the public, and express facts clearly and concisely Ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure the timely completion of assigned projectsEssential Functions and Responsibilities: Schedules and coordinates requests for meetings, classes, and events for Saint Francis Health System utilizing the event scheduling application. Prepares and distributes reports related to scheduled activities. Follows-up on special requests with department director. Provides receptionist and related duties utilizing effective and courteous communications. Provides assistance to employees, visitors, guests, and other internal/external customers. Answers phones and receives/transmits messages in a timely and accurate manner. Prepares correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, and spreadsheets. Maintains department contracts and related records. Performs timekeeping responsibilities. Maintains a clean and orderly environment; maintaining supplies, inventories, and ensuring office equipment is in working order within the office/department. Provides support for projects, i.e. preparing information for budgeting process and/or reports, event registration, and other activities as assigned.Decision Making: Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established.Working Relationships: Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with external customers via telephone or face to face interaction.
