Job Description
We are hiring a locum Gastroenterologist in east Virginia for an ongoing 24/hr call coverage!
Job details:
  • Start: As soon as credentialed (January start date)
  • Shifts: 24hr call
  • Setting: Acute care community hospital ED and inpatient consults
  • Average hospital patients: 5 - 10
  • Required Procedures: Lower GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
  • Required procedures upper GI Endoscopy: with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser), with Biopsy, Therapeutic, Diagnostic, with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
Job Requirements:
  • Board Certification
  • VA License
  • ACLS and BLS
