Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - Overland Park, KS
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
Position Summary: As a Vascular Technologist you will be instrumental in delivering diagnostic and therapeutic support within our vascular health program. Your expertise will contribute directly to improving patient outcomes and quality of life through innovative, minimally invasive procedures.
Responsibilities:
Conduct vascular diagnostic procedures, including ultrasound and Doppler studies, to assess vascular health
Utilize vein mapping expertise to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Perform and assist with procedures such as Varithena and radiofrequency ablations.
Monitor telemetry and record vital signs during interventions.
Maintain a sterile field and adhere to aseptic techniques for all vascular interventions.
Assist with additional lab tasks to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the vascular department.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or an equivalent certification in vascular technology.
Proven expertise in vein mapping and experience with procedures like Varithena and radiofrequency ablation.
Familiarity with cardiac catheterization and other vascular diagnostic procedures.
