Quality InspectorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product conformance to established quality standards through various inspection and testing methods. This role requires a strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions, and ISO standards.ResponsibilitiesAwareness of relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instruction documentation.Perform normal inspection duties to ensure product conformance to established quality standards.Perform tests and inspect a variety of mechanical, dimensional characteristics, general appearance, damage, or other nonconformities.Prepare inspection reports on work accomplished and validate rejection documents (example: First Articles).Assist other employees in making rejection decisions.Report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to the Quality Coordinator.Assist with cross-training of the quality functions.Maintain necessary records and files as required.Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.Compliance and participation in all ISO, Safety, and Health programs, policies, and training requirements.Essential SkillsInspectionQuality controlQuality inspectionVisual inspectionQuality checkAuditUse of calipers and micrometersBlueprint readingISO standards knowledge, including ISO 9001 and ISO 9000Document controlQuality assuranceLab testingAdditional Skills & QualificationsReceiving inspectionProduction floor process/product auditFinal dock auditRoutine lab testingProduct nonconformance reporting/resolutionCorrective actionGage care and maintenancePerforming measurement and testing procedures accuratelyAbility to work independently without direct supervisionCapability to perform multiple tasks through to completionAssisting in the timely resolution of nonconformance issuesEffective written and verbal communication to supervision and managementOther activities that support the overall quality systemAbility to communicate in EnglishAttention to detailWhy Work Here?Join a smaller company with a tight-knit, family culture where your contributions are valued.
